Eat Your Greens Smoothie

My dear friend Holly taught me this recipe many years ago. This is how she got greens into her 3 year old’s diet in a way he loved. And now I use this same recipe to help my clients and their families to get greens into their diets.

Here are a few extra optional ingredients for added nutrition:

For protein: 2 – 4 tablespoons hemp seeds or a scoop of high quality protein powder (ie: Garden of Life Raw Meal, Sun Warrior, Vega One, Manitoba Hemp Pro 50 or Nutrabiotic Raw Organic Rice Protein)

For healthy fat: 1 tablespoon flax oil, hemp oil, or coconut butter of ¼ avocado

For fiber: 1 teaspoon chia seeds or flax meal
