
Grilled Greens Beans with Basil Lemon Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- BASIL LEMON DRESSING INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup basil leaves, packed
- 1 clove garlic, smashed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Put a grill basket directly on the grate of your gas grill and heat the grill to medium-high. When the grill and basket are hot, toss the green beans with the coconut oil and ½ teaspoon sea salt. Slide them on to the grill basket, cover the grill, and cook. Toss the beans every 4- 5 minutes with tongs, until all the beans are limp and blackened in places, about 20 minutes.
- 2. To make the Basil Lemon Dressing: In a blender or food processor, process the basil, garlic, salt, and lemon juice until smooth. With the motor running, slowly add the oil. Blend until combined.
- 3. Transfer the beans to a mixing bowl and toss with the Basil Lemon Dressing, until beans are well coated.
